The Kemptville Live Music Festival is located on the grounds of the Kemptville College, 830 Prescott Street, Kemptville Ontario K0G 1J0.
From Cornwall, Brockville, Kingston, Toronto, NY take the 416 North off of the 401. Exit 28 or 34 will bring you to Kemptville. Exit 34 offers access to fuel, coffee and a look around our beautiful downtown on the way.
From Ottawa take exit 42 or 34 to Kemptville.
Follow the signs to FREE PARKING.
VIP and Accessible parking spots are available near the main gate. Please follow the VIP, Artist and Accessibility Parking Signs on Prescott Street to Curtis Avenue. VIP Passes and/or Standard Issue Ontario Accessibility Cards MUST be displayed to volunteers at the Curtis Avenue entrance.
General Admission Parking is available on Campus at the W.B. George Centre parking lots. Entrance to this parking is via Campus Drive off of Concession Road. Additional parking is available a short walk away at South Branch Elementary School and North Grenville District High School.
Shuttle busses will service all local subdivisions as well as parking lots at St. Michael’s Catholic High School and The North Grenville Municipal Centre. Please visit the SHUTTLE page for information on pick up locations and times.
For the safety of all patrons, please respect emergency vehicle access. Do not park on the side of the road on Concession Road, Prescott Street/County Road 44 or any roads on campus.

1. Is there a fee to ride the Kemptville Live Music Festival Shuttle Service?
No, this service is provided at no charge to our festival guests. Once again, the Scotiabank® is sponsoring our shuttle service. We are very thankful to the Scotiabank® for helping us provide safe rides to our community and festival guests.
Parking on the festival site for general admission ticket holders will be limited so we encourage you to take advantage of our off-site designated parking areas map and use our shuttle service.
Additional details regarding our Shuttle Service Routes and Schedules will be posted as of early June, leaving you lots of time to make plans.
2. Is there a fee to park in the designated Kemptville Live Music Festival parking areas?
No, there is no charge to park in the designated festival parking areas. Patrons however are parking at their own risk as the Kemptville Live Music Festival does not accept responsibility for lost, stolen and or damaged property. Please leave your valuables at home and remember to lock your empty vehicles.
3. Where are the Kemptville Live Music Festival designated parking areas located?
The designated parking areas are located around the community. Please follow Kemptville Live Music Festival parking signs or visit off-site designated parking areas map on our website. The two closest designated parking areas to the festival site are located across from the festival on the north side of Concession Road and include the parking lots of the North Grenville District High School and the South Branch Public School.
From these two closest designated parking areas you may walk to our admission gates by following the signs on the north side of Concession Road to our pedestrian safe walkway. The shuttle service will not operate in these two designated parking areas due to their close proximity to our festival venue. Walking from either of these two designated parking areas to the festival admissions gate will likely take you between five and ten minutes.

4. Where are the Kemptville Live Music Festival shuttle service stops?
The shuttle service stops are located around our community, many subdivisions and beyond. Additional details regarding our Shuttle Service Routes and Schedules will be posted as of early June, so that you will have lots of time to find a pick-up and drop-off location that works best for you!
5. What time does the Kemptville Live Music Festival Shuttle Service begin and end?
The festival Shuttle Service will begin approximately 30 minutes prior to the opening of the festival grounds for the day and will stop running approximately one hour after the festival live music ends.

7. Who may I contact regarding items I have accidentally left on the shuttle bus?
You may visit our information booth just inside the festival admissions gate in person and a festival volunteer will gladly help you out. All items lost or found on the shuttle buses will be forwarded to the lost and found at the end of each and every route. 8. Will I be permitted to bring a backpack or bag to the Kemptville Live Music Festival grounds or on the shuttle bus?
Please be advised that festival security and the police reserve the right to limit carry-in items and to search all bags and personal belongings at any time. Some articles are not permitted. Please review the Kemptville Live Music Festival House Rules for more information.
9. Will I be permitted to get on the Kemptville Live Music Festival shuttle service with my bicycle?
Unfortunately, bicycles will not be permitted on the shuttle buses. There will however, be a designated parking area on the festival grounds for bicycles that festival guests may use at their own discretion. Please visit our parking FAQs for more information.
10. What should I do if I have an emergency and I need to return to my vehicle as quickly as possible?
Please speak to the closest Kemptville Live Music Festival volunteer or make your way to the shuttle service tent for assistance.

The Kemptville Live Music Festival will not be held responsible for lost, damaged and or stolen items, articles, vehicles, personal items, etc. You are encouraged to leave valuable items safely at home and make certain to lock your empty vehicles.
14. May I ask the shuttle service drivers to stop at a location other than the designated pick-up and or drop-off stops?
Whether or not a driver may safely stop depends on the many factors (notice, speed, timing, traffic, location, schedule, etc.) and therefore drivers will not generally make stops outside of their scheduled pick-up and drop-off shuttle stops. Please remember that our drivers are on a schedule and there are many guests sharing this same service.
Kemptville Live Music Festival is dedicated to providing an extraordinary experience for all music lovers. Our volunteers are committed to ensure ample and ready access to all of our festival amenities.
Please be aware that Kemptville Live Music Festival does take place on natural terrain and that nature and weather may make that difficult to maneuver for all patrons.
All of our volunteers are directed to complete AODA training as part of their qualifications and acceptance. We have a dedicated team onsite for all operating hours to ensure that patrons with accessibility needs receive the information and assistance they may require.
Accessible parking is located just outside the main gate. Accessibility volunteers in this area and the shuttle drop off area, are clearly recognized by their white Kemptville Live Volunteer t-shirt with the globally recognized blue wheelchair logo on their sleeve.
One support person and service animal are welcome free of admission charge. Prominently labeled Information/Accessibility tents on site can provide rest areas for patrons and service animals as required.

Is the Kemptville Live Music Festival venue accessible to patrons with disabilities?
People with disabilities are welcome to attend our event. The venue is wheelchair-accessible, however due to the ground’s natural terrain, it can be difficult to maneuver a wheelchair. Collapsible lawn chairs are permitted throughout the site and we encourage those who may have difficulty standing for long periods to bring them.
Where is accessible parking located?
Accessible parking is located onsite just outside the main gate. Please follow the “Accessible Parking” signs to the Curtis Avenue entrance off of Prescott Street (County Road 44). Our traffic crew will guide you to the drop-off zone and parking area. Accessibility parking is limited. A provincially issued accessibility placard MUST be in any vehicle parked in a designated accessible spot.
Can I bring a support person?
Support persons can access the festival site without additional cost above the admission price for the patron with a disability (one support person per person with a disability).
Are service animals permitted?
Service animals are permitted. A cooling tent with water will be available near the accessibility entrance and viewing area.
Where can I find information or help at the site?
The festival does not provide personal care but our Accessibility/Info Volunteer Team does offer push service and light support. Team volunteers will be roaming the site to offer support and will also be stationed in the Accessibility/Information Team tents (centrally located on the site) to offer guidance. These volunteers will help you find a protected viewing area if required.
Parking Info
The festival site is located on the property of the Kemptville College between Concession Road and Prescott Street (Highway 44). There is no public parking on the campus. Please respect the volunteers on duty at the barricades to the campus entrances.
We anticipate high traffic volumes and with that comes congestion. We thank you in advance for respecting our efforts to manage our roadways closely in order to ensure the safety of our guests and volunteers.
Simply continue to North Grenville District High School or South Branch Elementary School on Concession Road if you wish to walk to the festival. The walk from these parking lots to the festival admissions gate will take you approximately five to ten minutes. Signs are posted on Concession Road to direct you to our pedestrian safe walkway.
We encourage you to use our designated parking areas around town which provide complimentary shuttle service to the main gate area. These off-site parking areas are indicated on our parking map which can be found on our website.

VIP and limited accessibility parking is available in the parking lot closest to the admissions gate. Provincially issued accessibility signs must remain visible on the dash of your vehicle at all times and identification may be requested so that we may monitor in and out activity.
VIP, vendors, accessibility and camping guests are to enter the festival site by our restricted access, back entrance, which is also located on Prescott Street (highway 44), continuing onto Curtis Avenue. Please note, all other vehicles attempting to use this entrance will be turned away as this is also our emergency entrance / exit and the route our shuttle buses require in order to remain on schedule. Again, we thank you in advance for respecting our efforts to manage our roadways closely in order to ensure the safety of our guests and volunteers.
Please be advised that our festival site will be under constant surveillance and anyone parking where parking is not explicitly permitted is endangering the safety of our community, guests, volunteers and our event as a whole. Parking – Back Entrance – Restricted Access ONLY
A reminder that this third entrance, for restricted use only, off of Prescott Street (Highway 44), continuing onto Curtis Avenue is for authorized vehicles only. All unauthorized vehicles will not be permitted to enter or exit the venue from this entrance.
Authorized vehicles include emergency services, security, police, shuttle service, accessibility guests, VIP guests and camping guests.
Emergency services must have absolute priority and other vehicles waiting to enter or exit, or on route on this roadway, must give emergency service vehicles immediate priority.

Is there parking on the festival site?
There is no general parking on the festival site. The only spots available must be reserved for our volunteers, VIP and accessibility clients for safety purposes.
Parking is available at North Grenville District High School and South Branch Elementary School located just a short walk across the street from the venue.
If you are not clear where you may park, please ask one of our volunteers to ensure you are not parking where your vehicle may be towed or ticketed.
You are encouraged to park your vehicle in one of our off-site designated parking lots around town and take advantage of our shuttle service.
There is absolutely no parking permitted in other parking areas designated for Ministry staff, volunteer staff, emergency, VIP, roadways, laneways, shoulders, in the grass or on the field. There will be zero tolerance for vehicles that are parked where parking was not indicated as permitted public parking for our festival and these vehicles will be towed and or ticketed at the owners’ expense.

We understand it may not be ideal to park off-site, so we are offering off-site parking together with a shuttle service (at no cost), which will frequent most of the festival designated parking areas as well as many local subdivisions, community locations and the like so as to best accommodate our guests and our community. As you enter the community of Kemptville, there will be signs pointing you in the direction of the Kemptville Live Music Festival, including where we have designated parking lots.
You may also visit our website to view our list of designated parking areas throughout the community.

How do I get from a designated parking lot to the Kemptville Live Music Festival grounds?
The festival site is located on the property at 830 Prescott Street which lies across from North Grenville District High School, South Branch Public School and the Kemptville Hospital (just past the intersection of Concession Road and Prescott Street (Highway 44).
If you are planning on using our free shuttle service, please park at a designated lot that also has shuttle service. The designated parking lots, shuttle routes and schedules are listed on our website.

Is there a taxi stand on the Kemptville Live Music Festival grounds?
A taxi stand is located near the Shuttle Service close to the main entrance to the festival. You may also ask any of our volunteers to point you in the right direction.
There appears to be a second entrance off of Prescott Street (Highway 44), is this closed to regular traffic?
Yes, there is one emergency entrance wherein emergency services have absolute priority and regular traffic is not permitted. This is our back entrance (Prescott Street (Highway 44) to Curtis Avenue). With proper identification, it may also be used by our accessibility guests, VIP guests, Shuttle Service and Camping guests.
Accessibility permits must remain in the vehicle they are intended for and be visible at all times. The Kemptville Live Music Festival volunteer staff may request identification in order to verify the information. Any vehicle on this roadway, without proper reason will be asked to exit immediately as they would then be endangering the safety and control measures in place to protect our guests and volunteers. Incidences will be handled by having security officers remove the vehicles.
Any traffic attempting to use this emergency will be denied access and asked instead to continue down the highway, turn around where it is safe, and to use one of the two public entrances to enter the festival grounds.
Where is accessible parking located?
A number of spots for accessible parking are located on-site just outside the festival main entrance, simply follow the “Accessible Parking” signs on Prescott Street (County Road 44) to Curtis Ave.
We do have additional overflow accessible parking spots on site but not in the closest parking lot. We do have two dedicated on site golf cart shuttles to help you to the gate should you need to park a bit further from the gate.
Alternately drop offs are permitted at the main gate and parking is available offsite for your driver with shuttle service to the main gate.
Accessibility permits must remain in vehicles parked on site as they are intended and should be visible at all times. The Kemptville Live Music Festival volunteer staff may request identification in order to verify this information for access to the site.

What if I simply want to drop-off or pick-up some passengers?
That is very kind of you.
There will be signs near our Concession Street entrance indicating where this pathway for pedestrian traffic is located.
Another option is use the designated parking lot areas also on Concession Street. There are two, on the north side of Concession Street, actually beside each other. They include the parking lot in front of the North Grenville District High School and the parking lot in front of the South Branch Public School. Please watch for our signs to be certain you are in the correct area.
Both of these parking areas are very close to our designated ‘safe pedestrian pathway’.
Camping Rules
General Information:
- All camping sites are flat/mowed grass surface.
- No power included.
- No potable water included.
- Showers available at the WB George Centre Thursday to Sunday July. (Bring your own towels).
- Lights out/Quiet Midnight to 8AM.
- Camping is available for Wednesday-Sunday and must be pre-booked and pre-paid. Register Online
- Camping gates will be open for Check-In.
- Tuesday 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- There will be no overnight security Tuesday.
- a $10/unit cash payment for early entry must be provided at check in.
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-8pm
- Saturday 9am – 6pm.
- Tuesday 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- One light vehicle per site booked will be permitted to park in the secured camping area. An alternate parking area will be provided for other vehicles. This will be strictly enforced for emergency access. Vehicles in violation will be subject to tow at the owner's expense.
- All campsites are assigned upon arrival based on preferences indicated in your registration form. There are no bad sites. All units prepaid are guaranteed a spot. For those wishing to camp in groupings of 2 or more, or anyone with accessibility/special requirements please indicate your needs/requests at time of ticket purchase and advise at Camping Check-in
- Tickets will be scanned upon entry and the barcode will not be available for re-use for the event.
- All patrons will be banded with wristbands which correlate to the ticket they have purchased.
- All patrons in the camping area MUST be able to display their camping bracelet.
- Guests visiting the camping area must purchase a camping pass for $20/day and have the patrons whom they are visiting come to meet them at the camping entrance gate.
- Wristbands issued at admission are to remain on the wrist of the patron admitted for the duration of their stay or attendance at the event.
- Weekend wristbands are not to be shared. One weekend pass is assigned to one individual.
- Wristbands that have been cut, stretched or altered will be invalid and the bearer will be subject to entry refusal or removal from the premises.
- Kemptville Live Music Festival will run performances rain or shine. No refunds or “rain checks.”
- Artist lineup is subject to change without notice.
- Re-entry to the venue will not be granted without a valid wristband. This policy will be strictly enforced. Trespassers will be evicted.
- House and Ticketing Rules apply to all guests, vendors and volunteers at the festival.
GENERATORS/INVERTERS
- Quiet generators are permitted on a “1 hour on 1 hour off” cycle during the day when you are in your camping site.
- For those guests requiring generator use between midnight and 8 a.m. there is a designated area for this purpose. Please ensure you advise us when you check in. This specific area is for the use of items such as: CPAP machines etc.
- Please bring a non-combustible platform for your generator to be placed on.
Camping FAQs
Do I have to pre-book my campsite?
- Camping is available for Wednesday -Saturday nights and sites must be pre-booked and pre-paid.
- Registrants must be over 18 years of age
- All campsites are assigned upon arrival in the area based on the size of your camping unit.
- Tickets will be scanned upon entry and the barcode will not be available for re-use for the event.
When can I check into my campsite?
Camping gates will be open for check in at 12:00 pm on Tuesday and 800am Wednesday - Saturday. Check in closes at 8pm.
Where do I check in?
Camping check in will take place at the camping entrance located off Prescott St. (County Road 44) at Curtis Drive. Follow the “Camping Entrance” signs.
How many vehicles are permitted per site?
One light vehicle or three motorcycles per site booked will be permitted to park in the secured camping area.
If you have an extra vehicle with your group you can park that in our camping overflow parking.
Can I have a fire in my campground?
There is no open burning allowed in the campgrounds. Portable propane cooking stoves are allowed and don’t fall under the fire ban.
How many people are allowed in a campsite?
Each person at your campsite must have a valid event ticket and camper access pass. There is a maximum of 6 people per camp site.
Are there showers?
Showers are available at the W.B. George Centre on site on Thursday - Sunday mornings from 8am until noon
How often do the campground shuttles run?
The campsite location is within walking distance of the festival. Golf cart camping shuttles run between the campgrounds and W.B. George every morning from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and between the campgrounds and the festival field from the time that the gates open for the day until close. (Please note the shuttle will not run during the headlining performance but will be available at the camper’s entrance gate in the event of a special situation).
Is handicap camping available?
All festival designated camping areas, are flat. The small tent & light trailer area is grassy. Can I bring food and beverages to my campground?
Food and drinks are permitted in the campground. No food or drinks are allowed to be taken out of the camping area.
Is the camping price for the full event?
Camping passes are for the entire weekend. There will be no discount for one day attendance.
Can I bring my ATV or dirt-bike?
MOTORIZED VEHICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED to roam at any time. This will be strictly enforced and will be cause for eviction from the campground and the festival grounds.
What time do the gates open?
The Festival main gates will open at 4:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, 1:00 pm on Saturday and 11:00 am on Sunday.
What are the campground hours?
Quiet time in the campground runs from 1200 am – 800 am.
Portable generators and any music must be turned off out of respect of local noise by-laws.
Can a friend pop over and visit me at my campsite?
Festival attendees are not allowed in the campgrounds unless they have a camper access or a visitor’s wristband.
Extra camping bands can be purchased at check in or at the box office on site for $20 provided your site is not already at capacity (6).
Visitors band will be given to registered camper’s. Visitors are to wait outside of the camping gate until the registered camper comes to meet them and take them on the site.
Can I come and go from the festival as I please?
- Yes you are free to come and go as you please. On the first day when you arrive at the festival we’ll put a wristband on your wrist and that’s your pass in and out of the festival for the rest of your time with us.

Will tickets be available on site?
If capacity has not been reached, tickets will be on sale at the gate.

Can we leave and come back?
Yes, you will be able to come and go as long as you have proper identification and an un- tampered event bracelet for re-admittance.
What is the difference between a regular pass and a VIP pass?
Please see the ticket page for an explanation on the various passes available for this event.
Are concerts cancelled when it is raining?
Concerts are expected to go on rain or shine. There will be no refund if there is rain.
Are children admitted free to festival?
Children under the age of 12 will be admitted free to this event with an adult admission. The child will be banded for identification purposes and is to supervised at all times.
Are there accommodations for accessible clients?
People with disabilities are welcome to attend our event. The venue is wheelchair-accessible, however due to the ground’s natural terrain, it can be difficult to manoeuvre a wheelchair. Collapsible lawn chairs are permitted throughout the site and we encourage those who may have difficulty standing for long periods to bring them.
Support persons can access the festival site without additional cost above the admission price for the patron with a disability (one support person per person with a disability).
The festival does not provide personal care but our Accessibility/Info Volunteer Team does offer push service and light support. Team volunteers will be roaming the site to offer support and stationed in the Accessibility/Information Team Tents (centrally located on the site) to offer guidance.
Service animals will be permitted.

How do I get to the festival?

Are there hotels in the area?
There are limited numbers of hotels in the area. Onsite rough camping will be available. Offsite trailer and RV camping not far from the venue and serviced with shuttle service will be available (visit CAMPING details page - all campers must be pre-registered).
Will there be an area to lock my bike?
There will be a designated area near the main gate where you may park your bike during the festivities. Please remember that Kemptville Live Festival accept no liability for personal property damage while you are on the grounds.
Where can I park my car/van/truck?
There is limited on site parking but we have designated parking areas and shuttle service throughout the town. Please visit our parking information page for more details.
Will there be a shuttle service for the festival?
Shuttle service will be provided from various points around North Grenville including offsite parking. Routes are available in our shuttle information page.
Will there be ATM machines on site?
There will be an ATM services on site. One machine can be found near the box office while the other is near the main bar tent.
Will there be First Aid stations on site?
Yes, there will be a first aid station on site along with emergency services.
Will there be food / beverage vendors on site?
Yes there will be food and beverage vendors on site along with several various exhibitors with various local merchandise and artwork.
Can I bring my own food and drink with me?
Outside food and drink will not be permitted. We have food and drink vendors on site as well as water refill stations. Will there be band merchandise on sale at the festival?
Yes, the musicians will be selling merchandise at the festival. Cash, Debit or Credit.
What environmental accommodations are you making for this festival?
There will recycling on site. We will have biodegradable food containers and cups.
Are there drinking water refill stations on site?
Yes, there are water refill stations on site. Kemptville Live Music Festival refillable water bottles may be purchased at the merchandise tent.
Will there be toilets and hand-wash stations available on site?
Yes, there will be portable washrooms and hand wash stations on site. Handicapped access units will be available.
Can I bring my camera to take pictures?
Photography and video recording is only permitted by accredited media who have applied and been approved by Kemptville Live Festival two weeks prior to the event. Cameras and recording devices will not be permitted. (Personal cell phones are excluded. Photos or video of headlining acts is strictly prohibited and will be enforced by on site security. Is there a lost and found?

Can I bring my dog?
No, animals will not be permitted on the festival field. Service animals will be permitted.
Will there be a place to store my stuff?
No, lockers will not be provided. We suggest that you leave any valuables at home. Kemptville Live Festival accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal items.
Will there be an information booth?
We will have an information booth set up at the front gate to provide patrons with information about the festival and information about the North Grenville area.
Volunteers and staff will be easily identifiable and available for your assistance; please do not hesitate to ask for help.
There will be a map to help you identify the location of first aid stations, lost child booths and the general lost and found areas.
Who may I contact regarding suggestions for improvement, compliments, etc.?

How can I be certain I am speaking with a Kemptville Live Music Festival volunteer?
Kemptville Live Music Festival volunteers will be wearing a white t-shirt with the Kemptville Live Music festival logo on the front and “VOLUNTEER” on the back and will also be wearing a photo id with Kemptville Live Music Festival Volunteer and their name.
Ticket Rules
- All Sales are final, no refunds or exchanges.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Photocopies or reproductions will not be accepted.
- Tickets will be scanned upon entry and the barcode will not be available for re-use for the event.
- All patrons will be banded with fabric wristbands which correlate to the ticket they have purchased.
- Wristbands issued at admission are to remain on the wrist of the patron admitted for the duration of their stay or attendance at the event.
- Weekend wristbands are not to be shared. One weekend pass is assigned to one individual.
- Wristbands that have been cut, stretched or altered will be invalid and the bearer will be subject to entry refusal or removal from the premises.
- Kemptville Live Music Festival will run performances rain or shine. No refunds or “rain checks.”
- Artist lineup is subject to change without notice
- Re-entry to the venue will not be granted without a valid wristband. This policy will be strictly enforced. Trespassers will be evicted.
- House Rules apply to all guests, vendors and volunteers at the festival.

You are invited to become part of the Kemptville Live Music Festival volunteer family. 200+ volunteers are required to assist in every facet of the festival’s planning and administration activities before, during and after the event.
Please Note: We are currently accepting volunteers for Parking and Traffic, Shuttles and General Event Workers. At this point in time, all other volunteer positions have been filled. If, in completing the Application, you chose options other than those volunteer positions currently being solicited, your name will be put on a wait list and we will try to accommodate your other preferences if a vacancy occurs.
